Roommates, for the last few weeks fans of Jazmine Sullivan have been dealing with the reality that she is not well enough to continue her tour due to contracting COVID-19—but she just blessed them with some very good news about her health. In a recent post on her Instagram account, Jazmine Sullivan confirmed that after canceling recent performances, she is now well enough to hit the stage once again with her scheduled stop in Atlanta.
Sharing the good news via her Instagram stories, Jazmine Sullivan wrote the following message:
“ATL I will see you tonight!!! Please bear with me as I’m still recovering from the affects of COVID. But I really miss u all and I’m going to do my best to continue on [with] the tour! See u there!”
This announcement regarding her health status is a definite change of pace from earlier this week when she had to cancel another show, bringing the total to six overall. On March 8th, Jazmine posted to social media, writing “I know I’ve been quiet, but I’ve been trying to rest my body and my voice. COVID got the best of me and I have to postpone tomorrow’s show in Nashville. I apologize to my fans who have been waiting to see me. I’ve been so looking forward to seeing you all too and it has been hard for me to not play these shows.”
She continued at the time, adding “I’m really praying I will be ready for Atlanta and I’m trying to take it day by day. Keep me in your prayers and I will be seeing you soon.”
Well, we’re definitely glad that Jazmine Sullivan is on the mend and feeling better!
